Created during my studies under Master Lee Hyang-gu in Icheon, South Korea, where I became his longest-term international student. Like all handmade ceramics, subtle variations and individual character are part of what makes each moon jar unique.
Bella features two hand-painted cobalt lines, one gently breaking away from the other as it finds its own path around the form.
The cobalt decoration was painted by hand using cobalt prepared in Master Lee Hyang-gu's studio in Icheon, South Korea. As each brushstroke is applied individually, no two moon jars are ever exactly alike.
